In response to the UK’s latest plastic packaging recycling policy, MF PACK proudly introduces a new generation of fully recyclable mono-material packaging made of BOPP/VMOPP/CPP.
This structure is made entirely from polypropylene (PP), allowing the finished bag to be sorted and recycled in the PP recycling stream, in line with the UK Plastic Packaging Tax requirements and upcoming sustainability regulations.
High Barrier, Fully Recyclable
The core layer, VMOPP (Vacuum Metallized Oriented Polypropylene), provides excellent oxygen and moisture barrier properties, similar to traditional PET/AL structures, but remains 100% recyclable.
Combined with BOPP (for printability and stiffness) and CPP (for sealing strength), the structure achieves both high performance and environmental responsibility.
Suitable Applications
This recyclable PP structure is ideal for:
1. Dry food packaging (snacks, nuts, grains, pet food, etc.)
2. Powder products (protein powder, instant drinks, etc.)
3. Non-food items (detergents, hardware, and household goods)
It provides strong protection and attractive printing effects, while helping brands meet the UK’s recyclability targets and reduce plastic taxes.
Limitations
Please note:
This material is not suitable for high-temperature retort or low-temperature freezing applications.
For products requiring sterilization or cold-chain packaging, we recommend using other high-barrier structures.
